Partner Sales Manager
- $140,000-$200,000 usd
- Worldwide
We are seeking a Partner Sales Manager for WP Cloud, a role that is pivotal to our mission of reshaping the WordPress hosting landscape. This position is not your typical sales role; it's a hybrid position that blends in-depth sales acumen with partnership cultivation and management. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in sales strategies and a unique capability to foster long-term relationships with partners in the website hosting industry.
As a Partner Sales Manager, you will be responsible for identifying potential hosting partners, understanding their business drivers, and demonstrating how WP Cloud can align with their goals to create mutually beneficial relationships. Your success will not solely be measured by the sales you close but by the enduring partnerships you build and the subsequent success these partners achieve through integrating and reselling WP Cloud.
- Identify and engage with potential partners in the website hosting industry, understanding their business models, challenges, and objectives.
- Present WP Cloud as a transformative solution, customizing the value proposition to align with each partner's specific needs and goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within partner organizations, focusing on long-term collaboration rather than one-time transactions.
- Work closely with partners post-sale to ensure successful integration and reselling of WP Cloud, providing ongoing support and strategic advice.
- Collaborate with the Jetpack team to explore and strategize how Jetpack partnerships can be integrated into the WP Cloud offering, providing a cohesive and compelling value proposition to partners.
- Monitor and report on partner performance, ensuring that partnerships are yielding meaningful results in terms of integration and sales of WP Cloud.
Requirements:
- Proven sales expertise, with a strong ability to close deals and foster ongoing relationships.
- Deep understanding of the website hosting industry, including key players, market dynamics, and business drivers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for nurturing relationships over time.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to see the bigger picture and align partner objectives with WP Cloud's offerings.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
- Knowledge of WordPress and its ecosystem is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams to leverage synergies and drive collective success.
Background:
- No specific educational background is required.
- Knowledge of the WordPress platform, the hosting industry, and experience in sales or partnership roles is essential.
This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in building meaningful, long-lasting business relationships and is passionate about driving change in the hosting industry through innovative solutions like WP Cloud. If you are a strategic thinker, skilled in sales, and adept at partnership management, we encourage you to apply.
Salary range: $140,000-$200,000 USD - Please note that salary ranges are global, regardless of location, and we pay in local currency.
