Job Summary: We are seeking a Salesforce DevOps and Release Manager to oversee the release management lifecycle of our Salesforce platform. This role involves managing first- and second-generation managed packages, automating deployment processes, and ensuring seamless code delivery across development lifecycles. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with developers, troubleshoot deployment errors, and set up CI/CD pipelines to optimize performance and productivity.
Job Responsibilities:
- Release Management: - Manage first- and second-generation Salesforce managed packages.
- Automate deployment processes to enhance the release management lifecycle.
- Oversee release management for the Salesforce platform, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Resolve validation and deployment errors promptly.

- CI/CD Pipeline Setup: - Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines and environments from scratch.
- Ensure seamless and consistent code delivery through the development lifecycle.
- Provide long-term solutions and develop roadmaps for process improvement.

- Stakeholder Coordination: - Act as a single point of contact for planning, coordinating, and overseeing releases, patches, and emergency change requests.

Requirements
Requirements:
- Expertise in branching strategies, version control, pipeline automation, and orchestration tools like Jenkins, BitBucket, GitHub, Copado, or Cumulus.
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce configuration, including user management, profiles, and permission sets.
- Ability to resolve code deployment version conflicts.
- Experience in complex Salesforce DevOps pipeline implementation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and integration concepts in enterprise IT environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
- Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience: - 6+ years of experience as a Salesforce Admin or Developer, including 4+ years in Salesforce DevOps and release management.
- Salesforce certifications are preferred.

Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency with scripting languages like Groovy or JavaScript.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
