We are seeking a Junior Local SEO Specialist to help us manage and generate more phone calls & leads for our Customers (Home Service Businesses) - All using white-hat local SEO strategies.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?
- Assist in executing local search engine optimization via a strong understanding of local SEO strategies and local best practices for on-page, off-page, and technical optimizations.
- Assist in maintaining, monitoring, and supporting a Google My Business and Bing Places Profiles portfolio. This includes but is not limited to, staying up to date on all Google My Business guidelines, citation management, reporting, and more.
- Closely collaborate with the web development team to ensure local SEO best practices are properly followed on client sites and Google My Business profiles.
- Implement Review and Reputation Management recommendations.
- Ensure regular GMB posts are published for all clients periodically without fail.
- Run quarterly audits to assess the overall Local SEO campaign health for portfolio clients.
- Take responsibility for ongoing local SEO, including on-page, GMB profile optimization, and more, to improve local keyword rankings in major search engines and the Local SEO Strategy as a whole.
- File reinstatement claims for suspended listings.
- Monitor weekly performance metrics with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Business Profile insights, and others.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- The ideal candidate for this role has 3+ years of Local SEO experience (experience working for Local SEO agencies will be preferred).
- A team player who is an excellent storyteller is self-driven and has a problem-solving mindset.
- Experience using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google My Business. Experience with BrightLocal & Yext would be a plus.
- Strong reporting skills are needed to track and report progress - activities done, status, weekly rankings, and ranking changes.
- Effective time management skills with an ability to prioritize and hit weekly/monthly activities.

- Self-starter, very detail-oriented, and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Ability to prioritize and effectively escalate issues as needed while understanding the impact.
