Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands on QA Manager to define and oversee quality assurance processes within our AI company. The QA Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring delivery of top-notch solutions by effectively managing QA strategies, processes, and teams. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, clear and effective communication, technical understanding and the ability to prioritize multiple projects across our diverse portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality products across various disciplines.
  • Lead and mentor a distributed team of QA engineers and contractors located in the United States and China.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and customer success to understand project requirements and prioritize QA efforts accordingly.
  • Define and enforce QA standards, methodologies, and best practices to maintain consistency and efficiency across projects.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of QA processes and continuously improve quality standards.
  • Conduct regular quality assessments, audits, and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Define, Manage, Oversee and deliver additional QA tools and solutions required for the solution and teams.

  • Coordinate testing activities, including test planning, execution, and reporting, to ensure thorough test coverage and timely delivery.
  • Remain updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to proactively address QA challenges and opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of quality and collaboration within the QA team, promoting knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing regular updates on QA status, issues, and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5-7 years) in QA management roles, preferably within the AI or technology industry.
  • Experience with delivering solutions that span multiple technologies (mobile, cloud, hardware and AI).
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing QA strategies, processes, and methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with experience leading distributed teams across different geographical locations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in QA tools, automation frameworks, and agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards and requirements related to AI and technology products.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in Mandarin (Chinese) is a plus.
