Contracting Associate

We are hiring a Contracting Associate to support our Contracting Supervisor and become part of a team that delivers exceptional customer service! The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys speaking with clients, excels at creative problem-solving and learning new skill sets, and genuinely loves helping people. You will report directly to the Contracting Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Become the go-to for all things carrier contracting & certifications at Spark
- Assist Agents in transferring carrier contracts to Spark & getting new contracts under Spark
- Handle inbound and outbound phone calls from Agents with a focus on providing exceptional customer experience by utilizing active listening and communication skills throughout the contracting process
- Leverage customer service techniques to troubleshoot customer inquiries and ensure the Agent’s issues are resolved via email, phone, and Zoom
- Provide a pleasant contracting onboarding experience for agents
- Adhere to the core values and mission of Spark and incorporate them into daily decision-making and initiatives
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 1-3 years of experience working in customer success, account management, or operations
- 1-3 years of experience working with Medicare (optional)
- Ability to utilize a customer relationship management system and other software to effectively triage support requests from agents
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Quickly adapts to new technologies, workflows, and troubleshooting technical issues
- Self-starter able to work independently without much supervision
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Ability to work in a team environment
