About the Role:

We’re looking to hire a full-time remote Senior React Python/Django Full Stack Engineer. For this role, your primary focus will be collaborating with a team of developers to create and implement software applications and components.

You’ll have the opportunity to choose your hours and work and learn with a team of world-class engineers and designers through a commitment to team collaboration, communication, and product quality.

Seniority Level: Mid-Senior Level

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python Django backend and React frontend for web applications.

• Manage PostgreSQL or similar SQL databases for optimal performance.

• Utilize AWS for cloud architecture and basic DevOps practices.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for resource management.

• Enhance search functionality using Elasticsearch or AWS OpenSearch.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure code quality and security.

• Optimize application performance and stay updated with industry trends.

• Provide mentorship to junior developers and assist with project management tasks.

Requirements

• Professional experience in Python Django development

• Professional experience in React front-end development

• Strong experience with PostgreSQL or similar SQL such as MySQL

• Knowledge of AWS and basic dev ops

Nice to haves

• Strong experience in Elasticsearch or AWS OpenSearch

• Strong experience in AWS and Dev Ops
