What will be your mission?
You will be part of an organization based on multidisciplinary squads (PM, Frontend, Backend, Designer and Engineering Manager) organized in tribes and whose objectives are defined following an OKR methodology. The goal is to provide a maximum of autonomy in the choice of the appropriate solutions.
You will also join 2 communities :
- frontend chapter (composed of about 20 developers),
- backend chapter (composed of about 20 developers),
which are responsible for the technical vision of JobTeaser, and are spread over several squads. These chapters allow each developer to come up with new things (libraries, processes, guidelines ...) and to make our stack progress.
The ecosystem of the platform relies on technologies such as:
- Our languages : Ruby, Go, Elixir, Javascript, Node
- Our frameworks : Rails and NextJS
- Our libraries : TypeScript, React, Redux, PostCSS, Webpack
- Our testing stack : RSpec, React Testing Library, ESLint, StyleLint
- Our platform stack : AWS, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Terraform, CircleCI for the Infra part,
- Our data stack : Python, Kafka for Data Science, Rudderstack, Amplitude…
You will have the exciting opportunity to join our innovative B2C tribe that is dedicated to designing and delivering cutting-edge solutions for our JobTeaser B2C users..
As an Engineer in our Acquire squad, you will play a key role in the user acquisition strategy and design solutions to help us improve our onboarding workflows and make every student feel at home!
In addition to developing new features, you will also maintain and strengthen application APIs for our marketing campaigns and help our students find their dream job!
Today our squad is looking to expand, you will join a team composed of :
- A Product Manager
- An Engineering Manager
- 1 Confirmed Backend developer
- 1 Frontend developer
Who are you? 🎯
We are interested in your technical skills as well as your human qualities:
- You have been working in the web industry for at least 3 years.
- You have a strong experience in building web applications, using big framework and libraries (Rails & React...)
- You design and integrate RESTful APIs
- You have a good knowledge of a backend language and on modern JavaScript (ES6+)
- You are comfortable in HTML and CSS and you know how to talk about semantics, CSS methodology (BEM, SMACSS, ...) and responsiveness.
- You make a point of monitoring, testing your code
You know and love teamwork, you are familiar with Git, understand the interest of continuous integration and don't give up when it comes to writing tests.
If you can also find yourself in these traits, it's a bonus for you and for us:
- You've already worked a lot with React and Redux and are able to explain their workings to your grandmother. Older frontend technologies don't scare you (and yes we also have legacy).
- You want to participate in the development of the team (pairing, mentoring, sharing ...) and to share your technical knowledge.
- You know how to organize your daily life and you appreciate evolving within agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, ...) or iterative development processes.
