Role description
We’re looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer on a full-time remote basis who will be working with Desktop and Web applications & latest emerging technologies. You will be reporting to the QA Manager and will be part of an international remote team.
Responsibilities
- Analyze applications and systems; identify areas for test automation.
- Investigate and define a proper approach to cover higher-risk scenarios with autotests.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- Implement test plans, automation, and validation strategies for Web applications and Services.
- Autotests development, support, review, and documentation. Test data creation and maintenance. Bugs reporting and follow-up.
- Build exceptional, highly efficient practices for testing and integration of test automation to the software development life cycle.
- Collaborate with the Research & Development department on tasks related to test automation and evolution and supervision of continuous integration processes.

Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience in test automation positions.
- Upper-Intermediate English (B2 Level minimum).
- Experience in implementation from scratch of automation testing frameworks.
- Deep understanding of different types of testing and theory of software quality assurance.
- Knowledge of agile software development methodologies.
- Experienced with automation frameworks based on JavaScript and/or TypeScript. EG: PlayWright / WebDriverIO / Cypress.
- At least one year of experience coding in TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Experienced with Git code versioning tools. Used to peer review methodologies, providing and receiving feedback.
- Familiar with SQA and test management tools (JIRA, Wiki, Zephyr Scale, Testrail, etc.)
- Experience working with CI-CD tools such as Jenkins / Gitlab CI / Bitbucket Pipelines / GitHub Actions.
- Experience in services testing is a plus (Postman/SoapUI, REST, JSON, XML).
- Performance Test experience is a plus (JMeter, LoadRunner, others).
