Senior Java Web Toolkit Developer

We’re looking to hire a full-time, remote Senior Java Web Toolkit Developer. For this role, your primary focus will be collaborating with a team of developers in creating and implementing software applications and components. You’ll have the opportunity to choose your hours and work and learn with a team of world-class engineers and designers, through a commitment to team collaboration, communication, and product quality.

Seniority Level: Mid-Senior Level

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop software applications using Java and Web Toolkit framework

• Write code for software applications and perform code reviews to ensure that code meets coding standards and is maintainable

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that software applications meet business requirements

• Create technical specifications and documentation for software applications

• Troubleshoot and debug software applications as needed to identify and resolve issues

• Test software applications to ensure that they meet quality standards and are free from defects

• Stay updated with industry best practices and trends

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Java, including experience with popular frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Struts

• Experience with Web Toolkit (JWt) and the ability to develop complex browser-based applications using Java

• Proficiency with software development tools such as Git, JIRA, and Jenkins

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work with cross-functional teams

• Demonstrated leadership and decision-making abilities

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to solve complex technical problems

• Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

• A commitment to continuous learning and professional development

• Ability to work during EST hours

• Full-time availability (40 hours/week)

• A personal computer with stable internet

• Excellent English communication skills (B2 to C2 level)
