Ocean Infinity is seeking a talented Houdini Generalist to join our team and help us create stunning visualisations and animations using Houdini. You will work closely with our VFX and Software Development teams to ensure that the visualisations and animations are integrated seamlessly into our software products.

What will you do:

• Create stunning visualisations and animations using Houdini's procedural content creation tools;
• Develop custom scripts and plugins to automate repetitive tasks and improve workflow efficiency;
• Produce high-quality motion graphics to showcase our software features and/or products;
• Collaborate with other team members, including software engineers and product managers, to ensure that the visualisations and animations meet the creative and technical requirements of the project;
• Stay updated with the latest Houdini techniques and workflows to ensure that our work meets the highest standards.

Who you are:

• Fluent in Houdini procedural content creation tools, including a deep understanding of its animation capabilities, and effects toolset;
• Experienced user in Redshift and Octane;
• Strong artistic and technical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality visualisations and animations;
• Fluency in English (speaking and writing);
• Critical thinking and ability to show initiative;
• Open and receptive to new and different ideas;
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Desirable:

• Modelling skills (Maya, Modo);
• Unreal Engine;
• Texturing skills (Substance);
• Compositing (Nuke or After Effects);
• Python and Vex Scripting.
