Operations Manager

Glo seeks a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager who is enthusiastic about crypto and global basic income. We are looking for an operations professional to help create and execute on a smooth system for onboarding new people and organizations into the Glo ecosystem.  You will have the opportunity to be a vital contributor to fulfilling our mission to end extreme poverty. 

This is an essential role at an early mission-driven nonprofit startup looking to create a global basic income. You will join a fully remote team that is working to launch Glo by the end of 2022.

• Onboard new business clients that want to buy Glo in bulk
• Process bulk orders of Glo, managing the Prime Trust platform
• Coordinate with the Governance Council when to initiate minting of new Glo tokens to ensure there is always sufficient inventory to sell Glo using Prime Trust's platform
• Coordinate the sale of large Over The Counter sales of the Glo token
• Ensure we maintain a “risk appetite compliant” balance of USD between Prime Trust, our treasury and T-Bill brokerage account, and coordinate rebalancing when necessary 
• Build repeatable scalable processes and programs that aid in all of the above 
• Collaborate across teams, with partners, the Glo community, and corporate supporters, to implement frictionless operational process as we scale
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations around buying Glo, selling Glo, and transactional strategic partnerships

• 3+ years of operations experience in a fast scaling environment
• Experience in early stage startups - can build process and structure from scratch and with limited or no playbook
• Experience in financial services or FinTech
• Understanding of operational complexities in crypto/stablecoin a huge plus
