RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to be a part of the foundation of  DevOps culture at Reveal in a newly created team. You will work in a fully remote team, with a simple mindset: you choose how you work, but you are efficient enough to get your job done. Your responsibilities will include:

Cloud operations: 

• Building on-demand environment 
• Automating workflows through CI/CD 
• Enhancing security mechanisms (tfsec, pre-commits) 
• Measuring with KPIs (DORA metrics) 
• Improving monitoring system, service quality, reliability 
• Improving existing architecture and existing stack / tooling 

Evangelization: 

• Applying DevOps best practices / patterns 
• Sharing DevOps knowledge across teams 

Collaborate with teams on cross-functional projects: 

• Understanding and escalating requests from all teams, prioritizing them 
• Providing advice and solutions on issues through workshops

Daily technical stack: 

• Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, GCP 
• GitlabCI, CircleCI, ArgoCD 
• Prometheus + Grafana 
• Docker, RabbitMQ, Bigquery, MongoDB, Postgresql 
• Jira, Github

This job will report to Lead DevOps Engineer.

• You’re ambitious, determined, empathetic, optimistic and adaptable. These are our values and influence everything we do,
• You have good communication skills and love to communicate with internal teams (Developers & Product Managers),
• You love to face challenging problems and taking initiative to propose new solutions and defend them.

• Minimum 2 years of successful experience, 
• Good understanding of cloud services and of designing for scalability + performance and reliability principles,
• Good understanding of containers technologies such as Docker, as well as alerting and visualisation tools,
• Good understanding of CI/CD tools,
• Spoken and written Professional English skills.

Nice to have: Experience working on Google Cloud Platform + Terraform / Helm / Kubernetes / Docker.

HIRING PROCESS

The journey starts with an interview with Talent Acquisition Manager (30 mins)
This will then be followed by a Technical Manager's interview to validate your practical job-related skills (1 hour)
Then a final Culture Fit interview with the CTO and another member from the engineering team.

You will  then  be asked to provide us with 3 professional references, including contact details.
