You will help answer business critical questions like - how do we ensure and improve on an industry leading fill rate, how can we create the best match between a Pro and assignment, what should be the key elements of our pricing strategy, how should we think about dynamic pricing, what levers do we use to maintain a balanced marketplace, how should we think about trade-offs across all dimensions including reliability vs convenience vs quality. You will operate as a key thought leader and decision-maker across both business and tech, and will work with a broad set of cross-functional partners across sales, operations, engineering, data science, design, and more! Our ideal candidate for this role will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is motivated by challenging problems and constraints, and is passionate about great user experiences, scaling through technology, and combining quantitative and qualitative data to guide decision-making.

  • Set our pricing strategy accounting for more predictable and less predictable changes in supply and demand and to craft and influence customer behaviors
  • Define and build the levers to balance the marketplace across all vectors
  • Own and lead the end-to-end product development process of major features and iterations, including creating high quality PRDs, working closely with engineering, design, etc. to bring world class products to market
  • Monitor and measure launched products and feed insights back into the product development process
  • Own your numbers, drive your cross-functional team of engineers, designers, etc. to set qualitative objectives and quantitative goals - challenging all members to think ambitiously and creatively - and overachieve them
  • Distill vision and strategy for the team, rally all members of the cross-functional team
  • Clearly communicate product plans, benefits, and results to stakeholders
