About your role

We are looking for a Business Technology Consultant to join our team at Decimal. In this role, you will solve a wide range of operational challenges across a multitude of industries and verticals. You will play a pivotal component in our organization as you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of systems (systems = people, process, and technology) that solve problems and save time for our clients. The ideal candidate is someone who approaches solutions creatively, loves problem-solving, and has a strategic mindset. You’ll love this role if you are a team player, lead with curiosity, and enjoys learning and building new things. 

 

This position will report directly to our Director of Product Operations. We’re excited to see what you’ll contribute to the team’s positive, collaborative culture and how you’ll learn and grow together on a team with the potential to make an impact in our industry and our clients.

 

What you’ll do 

  • Develop an understanding of Decimal’s core offering

  • Study standard solutions implementations

  • Assist with in-flight solution implementations

  • Own delivery for standard solution implementations

  • Design & implement non-standard solutions with support and guidance from other solutions architects

  • Review & approve implementation plans for new clients

  • Scope, design, and implement solutions for our clients’ (or prospective clients’) unique workflows

  • Abstract learnings from one-off solution implementations to improve our standard operational workflows

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role

  • Experience helping clients identify and implement the optimal solution for their business

  • Prior experience working cross-functionally with teams such as sales, implementation, and customer success to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients

  • Systems implementation experience with one (or more) of these types of systems:

    • ERP

    • CRM

    • Inventory management

    • Quote to cash

    • Project management

    • Reporting

    • Accounts payable

    • Expense management
